Spotter is designed for privacy-conscious wildlife exploration. The app runs animal photo classification locally on your device, keeps location and media data under your control, and avoids unnecessary sharing.
Third Party Interactions
Spotter uses a Wildlife Detection Machine Learning Model to provide suggested photo classifications. This model is downloaded and run on the user’s device.
What we collect
- At this time, Spotter does not collect or store any user data. User IP addresses may be gathered by a third party to download the Machine Learning model for photo classification.
- All photos, media, and observations made by users are stored on the user's device.
How we use it
Spotter does not use any user data for any purpose.
Your rights
- Users can delete photos and observations at any time from the Spotter app.
- Users can delete the Spotter app at any time.
